PROCESS TO REQUEST MEDIA CREDENTIALS (Please Read Carefully)

* Media coverage credentials may be requested by submitting the names
of all parties (editors, reporters, critics, columnists,
broadcasters, producers, photographers, technicians, etc.) in
writing to BET Corporate Communications. Requests must be submitted
on the letterhead or stationery of the media outlet stating the
names of the individuals assigned to cover the event (s). No
exceptions will be made.

* Submit all credentials requests via fax to BET Corporate
Communications at 202-608-2631. Decisions and notifications will be
made within 48 hours of request submittal. Deadline for credentials
requests is Monday, October 15, 2001.

* PRIORITY ACCESS TO EVENTS, INTERVIEWS AND PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES WILL
BE GIVEN TO MEDIA OUTLETS AND WORKING JOURNALISTS COVERING THE WALK
OF FAME FOR DEADLINE SENSITIVE NEWS PURPOSES. All other requests
(i.e. reporters attending the event to gather background for stories
on artists, celebrities, etc.) will be considered on a space-
available basis only.

* MEDIA CREDENTIALS ARE NOT TICKETS TO THE WALK OF FAME EVENT. There
are no seats for media in the actual event venue. Media seating is
located in a specially designated viewing area adjacent to the
venue.

* Please indicate any special needs or plans for coverage of the BET
Walk of Fame (i.e., phone line access to file news stories from
venue, etc.) on the same document requesting your media credentials.

* Media credentials will be distributed beginning Thursday, October 18
at 3:30 p.m. ET. Credentials are non-transferable, and may only be
picked up by the individual to which the credential is assigned.
Photo identification must be shown at time of credential pick-up.
Location for credentials pick-up will be shared at the time of
request approval.

* All media members must exhibit appropriate professional behavior at
all times and comply with event coverage rules and parameters as
dictated by Black Entertainment Television and Cossette Productions.
Failure to do so may result in confiscation of media credentials and
expulsion from the Walk of Fame event.
